MIddle Tennessee Writing Project

The mission of Middle Tennessee Writing Project is to improve writing and learning in Middle Tennessee’s schools. MTWP promotes effective writing instruction through a teachers-teaching-teachers professional development model recognizing the importance of teacher based knowledge, expertise, and leadership.

 

We offer a variety of services, including a two-week invitational summer institute for educators, youth writer’s camps, an annual fall conference, and other professional development opportunities throughout the year, and can also partner with your school or district to provide sustained in-service programs.
